Every year, millions of tonnes of plastic pollute our oceans, seas and rivers, endangering marine life and the health of ecosystems, not to mention our own. By 2040, between 23 and 37 million tonnes of plastic will be flowing into the oceans every year. In response to this environmental emergency, the Eqwal Foundation is launching a call for projects to combat the proliferation of plastic in our waters.
Plastic pollution is one of the most pressing challenges facing our planet. The consequences are devastating: marine animals suffocated by plastic debris, fragile ecosystems degraded, and even microplastics entering our food chain. Without swift action, the consequences could be irreversible.
The Eqwal Foundation is launching a call for projects to mobilise stakeholders in the fight against the proliferation of plastic in our aquatic ecosystems. Whether your initiative is creative, innovative or simply committed to this fight, don't hesitate to complete our call for projects form. For more information about this call for projects and the selection criteria, please read our explanatory leaflet.
If you have an idea or a project that can contribute to the fight against the proliferation of plastic in oceans, seas and rivers, we strongly encourage you to submit your application.
By working together, we can make significant progress in the fight against plastic pollution. Eqwal Foudation thanks you for your interest and commitment to this important cause.
