Théo Curin becomes the ambassador for Eqwal

Théo Curin becomes the ambassador for Eqwal.

A passion for challenges, effortless style, elegance, a commitment to excellence and a drive to excel are all common points shared by the Paralympic swimmer and the Eqwal Group.

At only 6 years old, Théo had his four limbs amputated following a sudden bacterial meningitis. Determined not to suffer his difference but to take advantage of it, it is thanks to his courage, his will to win and the love of those around him that he manages to overcome this ordeal and is today double vice-champion. from the world of disabled swimming, TV columnist, actor, model but also extreme adventurer.

On November 20, 2020, he crossed Lake Titicaca in the space of 10 days, alongside two other athletes Malia Metella and Matthieu Witvoet. Since then, he has been taking on sporting challenges and making appearances in television shows, series and radio channels. On November 13, 2022, he set himself a new challenge by participating in the 57km open water swimming race from Santa-Fe to Coronda in Argentina, in water infested with crocodiles, piranhas and jellyfish!

Eqwal is very proud to support Théo Curin in his challenges but also in the fitting of his two prosthetics devices via our Lagarrigue clinics in France.
