AlliedOP’s youngest patient to date received her first leg by Practitioner Michael at our West Orange, New Jersey location.
Throughout the entire process from casting to fitting, Louise was patient and calm. Louise received a beautiful custom socket that consisted of purple and pink sparkles along with an Ohio Willowwood Sach foot.
The Sach foot is a low activity model that is created with a titanium pyramid already attached. This foot offers a lightweight composite heel, flexible toe belting with three resistances, two heel heights, and interchangeable heel inserts.
Louise was finally able to walk for the first time with two legs on delivery day with the help of her family and Practitioner Michael. After adapting to life so far with one leg, Louise was able to take it step by step with her new prosthesis. We are so proud of Louise and are excited to grow with her throughout her journey.
