Eqwal's Energy Efficiency Plan

Pdf version - english

To respond to the ecological emergency, and in accordance with the measures announced by several governments in Europe, including those of the French government plan, Eqwal is committed and announces an energy efficiency plan.

Faced with the current tensions on the electricity market, which are likely to increase this winter during peak consumption, Eqwal has decided to reduce its electricity consumption from October in all of the Group's subsidiaries.

Two key measures will enable a 10% reduction in energy consumption between October 2022 and October 2023:

- The modification of interior temperatures in all production sites, administrative sites and branches: recommended temperatures of 19°C for occupied premises, 16°C outside periods of occupation and 8°C if the premises are unoccupied for more than two days.

- Turning off the lighting of car park and signs between 8pm and 7am.

These measures constitute a framework for the Group upon which they build their efficiency plans according to their specificities.

In addition, Eqwal Impact will launch an Act for Change awareness campaign on new energy consumption behaviors to adopt for the preservation of the planet.

These measures will be implemented according to the applicable laws and regulations of each country.
