Celebrating Excellence: Highlights from the Awards Ceremony
Following the second edition of our international training program Excellence in Motion, we had the pleasure of hosting the official Awards Ceremony.
As with the first edition, this initiative aims to spotlight and reward individuals and teams who lead innovative projects aligned with Eqwal’s values. These projects represent real progress for our field and continuously push us to improve, so we can offer patients the best possible orthopedic solutions.
CSG France Team – Excellence in Practice Optimization
With a structured and educational approach, the CSG France team developed a component catalog curated by a panel of experts. This tool simplifies technical decision-making for orthoprosthetists while offering an innovative learning resource.
R&D Orthovoxel Team – Innovation in Orthopedics
The R&D Orthovoxel team stands out for several major innovations in orthopedics, including the BOA helmet with pressure sensors, the ORCA multi-axial orthosis, the Bikini Socket, and a 3-point brace with horizontal adjustment.
Dennis Williams – Excellence in Clinical Leadership
Since Eqwal’s arrival in the U.S., Dennis Williams has played a key role by combining clinical expertise with strategic vision. He raises awareness of economic challenges, optimizes costs, and ensures accurate prosthetic coding across teams.
Katie Janiszewski – Clinical Innovation & Mentorship
Katie Janiszewski has made a strong impact through her support of new clinicians and residents in Northern California. She created customizable educational videos using the latest technologies and actively contributes to AI pilot projects with tech partners.
Belgium Insoles Team – Digitalization & Innovation
Through determination and seamless collaboration, the Belgium Insoles team transformed the insole manufacturing process. Their project introduced a standardized digital measurement method, a digital correction protocol, and a fully operational 3D printing farm.
Ukraine Training Team – Excellence in Upper Limb Prosthetics
During a field mission in Ukraine, this team of prosthetists and technicians made a lasting impact. They trained local professionals and fitted patients with advanced devices such as the Steeper Espire elbow and TASKA hands, helping expand access to upper limb prosthetics.
Corazza Italy Distribution Team – Innovation in Orthopedic Technology
With a bold strategy and strong technical expertise, the Corazza Italy team expanded into prosthetics while strengthening their core expertise in orthopedic insoles. Their dedication and energy marked a key milestone in Eqwal’s growth in Italy.
Mike Evans from Steeper – Innovation in Orthopedic Technology
Mike Evans, from Steeper, made a significant impact by rapidly implementing CAD/CAM scanning and Qwadra milling technology at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. This innovation drastically reduced patient scanning time, enabling orthoses to be ready for fitting in under 24 hours.
Qwadra Team – Excellence in Digital Transformation
This award honors the entire Qwadra team for their outstanding commitment to a project launched one year ago. Their efforts unified three leading companies under a single digital vision, marking a major step in the group’s transformation. A collective success that highlights the power of collaboration in driving innovation.
