Eqwal Expands on the East Coast with the Acquisition of United Prosthetics, Inc.

Eqwal is pleased to announce the acquisition of United Prosthetics, Inc., a historic, family-run provider of prosthetic and orthotic care based in Boston and Quincy, Massachusetts.

With more than a century of presence in the region and a strong reputation for clinical excellence, United Prosthetics operates with a team of 13 employees, focusing primarily on prosthetics, complemented by orthotics services.

The company has been led for generations by the Martino family, with Mary, Chris, Greig, and Gary Martino continuing to support operations during the transition to ensure the preservation of United Prosthetics’ longstanding patient-first culture and clinical excellence.

This acquisition strengthens Eqwal’s footprint on the East Coast and supports its strategy of building a connected, high-performance clinical network across the United States.
