Acquisition of North Bay and Bio Design

Eqwal is pleased to announce the acquisition of North Bay and Bio Design, two recognized providers in California specializing in orthotics and prosthetics. This strategic move strengthens the presence of Eqwal on the West Coast through five locations: Roseville, Sacramento, Fairfield, Napa, and Vacaville.

The organizations together employ around 30 professionals, including 10 CPOs. The owners, Michael Bright, Kyle Eckhart, and Bryan Hayes, will continue with Eqwal, ensuring continuity and trust.

This acquisition opens new opportunities for collaboration and growth while reinforcing Eqwal’s commitment to innovation, mobility, and patient-centered care.

Acquisition of Allen Orthopedic Labs, Inc.

Eqwal is also pleased to announce the acquisition of Allen Orthopedic Labs, based in San Rafael. The company primarily focuses on orthotic services, with additional activity in prosthetics.

Allen Orthopedic Labs employs four professionals. The owners, John Allen and Leslie Allen, will continue to support the organization following the acquisition.

This integration enhances Eqwal’s orthotic expertise in the San Francisco Bay Area, supporting our ambition to deliver high quality, local patient care.
