On the way to two new missions in Thailand
After three humanitarian missions organized in Thailand by the Eqwal Foundation, this time two teams of prosthetists and technicians are set to depart for two new missions.
Why two missions?
The Eqwal Foundation has always aimed to support AMFA (Franco-Asian Medical Association) in its missions in Thailand. Following previous missions, the local teams continued to practice, receive training, and develop their fitting center. Today, we are organizing two new missions to further the work that has been accomplished. These missions will follow one another, allowing for a smooth handover from the first team to the second.
The goals of these missions?
Like the three previous missions, this new initiative will deepen the trainees' knowledge on-site, both theoretically and practically. People who have undergone amputations will be able to receive custom-fitted prosthetics locally.
In addition, we continue to supply equipment such as prosthetics no longer used in France. Thanks to these materials, local teams will be able to fit patients who are in need.
These fourth and fifth missions in Thailand strengthen the bond between the local teams and our prosthetists. We are pleased to be able to support AMFA in this endeavor. Through this collaboration, we hope not only to enhance the skills of the local teams but also to provide sustainable solutions for amputee patients.
