Eqwal continues its development in the Netherlands with the integration of Lomed

Lomed, a specialist in medical devices and a distributor of high-quality orthopedic products and brands, joined Eqwal’s Products & Components division on October 1, 2026.

With 35 years of experience, Lomed brings its expertise, in-depth knowledge of the Dutch market, and high standards to the Group, sharing a common ambition: to continue providing the best possible support to healthcare professionals and, through them, to patients.

Based in North Brabant, in the heart of the Netherlands, Lomed currently employs 13 people. The company is led by Raymond de Loos and J.F. de Loos-Keijers, who will continue to support its development within Eqwal.

This integration opens up new opportunities for Lomed’s growth and development, while enabling the company to further strengthen its position in the Dutch market.

At the same time, this new step reflects a clear commitment to preserving what makes Lomed strong and distinctive. The company will continue to operate under its own name and maintain its current organization. Lomed’s customers, suppliers, and partners will continue to work with their usual contacts and benefit from the same high level of service and personalized support.
