Eqwal continues to expand in the United States with the integration of Lerman & Son Orthotics and Prosthetics into its Patient Care USA division.

Lerman & Son began its operations in Berlin as a shoe manufacturer. Forced to leave Germany due to the political climate at the time, the company relocated to Shanghai, China, where it remained for ten years. Above all, Lerman & Son is a family story. In 1948, Jacob and Max Lerman arrived in Los Angeles and opened their first office. Today, the company is owned and managed by Jack Schwartz, Denise Leiter and Larry Lerman.

This family-owned company, with its long-standing history, now operates a clinic in Beverly Hills and employs 30 people. Lerman & Son specializes in the design, manufacturing and fitting of custom orthoses and prostheses for the upper and lower limbs, as well as the spine. The company also has a long-standing track record in providing care for pediatric patients.

This acquisition strengthens Eqwal’s presence in the U.S. market, particularly in California, while contributing to the development of an integrated and structured nationwide clinic network.

"We are delighted to welcome the Lerman & Son Orthotics and Prosthetics teams to the Eqwal Group. With its long-standing history and recognized expertise in the orthotics and prosthetics field, the company brings valuable skills to our operations in the United States. Its experience, particularly in the care of pediatric patients, is a real asset in further developing our network and providing solutions that are increasingly tailored to patients’ needs.”
