Eqwal continues its growth strategy in Germany with the acquisition of the Preisler Group, based in Langen, Hesse, and led by Benedikt Preisler. Since 2012, the group has been developing its expertise in orthopaedic care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, as well as the development and distribution of innovative assistive devices.

The Preisler Group's activities are organised across four entities: Optimus, specialising in technical orthopaedics; Neuron, dedicated to therapy; Prowalk, specialising in the distribution of products and services; and Prowalk Innovation, focused on R&D. Their shared goal is to provide comprehensive care for people with complex neurological and orthopaedic conditions through close collaboration between the different entities.

The four Preisler entities and their 82 employees bring a new network of specialised expertise in neurological rehabilitation and the distribution of assistive devices to the group. Benedikt Preisler, CEO of the group, aims to share his expertise and culture of innovation with the entire Eqwal Group.

This acquisition marks an important milestone in the development of our network and the strengthening of Patient Care Germany's activities, led by Christian Walgenbach.

“I am delighted to welcome the Preisler Group and its teams to the Eqwal Group. We look forward to working with them and benefiting from their technical expertise and culture of innovation, developed over many years. Their expertise in neuro-orthopaedics and neurological rehabilitation represents a real asset to our group. This collaboration will further strengthen our presence in Germany and contribute to the development of our Patient Care activities.”

Jean-Pierre Mahé, CEO of Eqwal
