Eqwal strengthens its presence in the Netherlands with the integration of Pruis Orthopedie B.V.

Eqwal today announces the acquisition of Pruis Orthopaedic Shoe Technology (Pruis). Founded in 1932, the company operated as a shoe repair workshop until 1957, before specializing in the manufacture of orthopedic footwear. Pruis is recognized for its expertise in the production of custom orthopedic footwear semi orthopedic shoes, the adaptation of ready-to-wear shoes, and inlays for individuals suffering from foot conditions, whether mild or more complex.

With a long-standing tradition, Pruis has established itself as a key player in the field thanks to the quality of its products and its strong focus on customer service. The company also stands out for its ongoing commitment to developing skills and knowledge, as well as for its role as a recognized training company within the sector.

Through its tailor-made solutions, Pruis supports patients by providing orthopedic shoes and insoles with high support value, thereby improving their comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life.
